Supranav Dash currently shuttles between his hometown Kolkata, India and New York City. His work examines the themes of identity, gender, displacement, caste-class divide within the global socio-economic and political landscape.

Supranav is a 2016-17 Fellow in Photography from the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA). His recent exhibitions include the PhotoVogue/ Visions Artist, PhotoVogue Festival, Milan, Italy; the Photoquai Biennial (PHQ5) at the Musee du Quai Branly, Paris; the Noorderlicht PhotoFestival, Groningen and Chobimela IX, Dhaka. He is an EAW XXVI Alumni and was selected for the Aperture Summer Open '14 and American Photography 30.

Dash's projects have featured in publications including Time Lightbox, National Geographic, Wired, Huffington Post, GEO, Smithsonian, American Photo, Fast Company-Design, Lens Culture, SDN, Photographic Museum of Humanity, GUP magazine, Ojodepez magazine, DOC! magazine, PDN Edu, aCurator, Tasveer Journal, The Morning News, PetaPixel among others.
